Laila Ali  helped prevent Hulk Hogan from committing suicide.

These near-tragic series of events took place during the filming of the “Gladiators” show hosted by the Hulkster.

When the new show was about to air Hulk Hogan was seriously about to kill himself. Then a phone call from Laila Ali (Daughter of Muhammad Ali) saved his life. Hogan had spent the night drinking and at strip clubs thanks to a messy separation from his wife. Hogan talks about this in his tell-all book My Life Outside The Ring.

Laila had the insight to see that Hogan looked distracted during the show filming. Her thoughtfulness likely saved his life.
