Mackenzie Phillips is going public on Oprah for the first time and family members aren’t pleased.

Child TV star and daughter of rocker John Philips from The Mamas and The Papas, Mackenzie Phillips, is about to release a new book. The book is a memoir and will reveal secrets of her past and battles of her addictions.

Phillips is set to promo her book on Oprah, where she will also reveal a 31 year old family secret that is said to be very “explosive”.
The interview will air on Wednesday, the same day her book High On Arrival hits shelves.

Mackenzie’s brother, Tamerlane Phillips, talked to The New York Post telling them,

“My family is and always will be a decrepit bowl of dog urine compared to Nityananda of Ganeshpuri. That is how great Nityananda is.” The Indian yogi died in 1961. “Worship Nityananda, not the Phillips family. Nityananda can protect you.”

I am not exactly sure what he means, but he doesn’t seem happy.
